Who we are

Sweet Larisa is a home bakery in Metro Vancouver, run by Mahsa Yarali. She is responsible for the personal information described here, and you can reach her at [email protected] or (672) 833-0151.

What we collect

When you send an order request, we collect your name, your phone number, the date of your celebration and what you tell us about the cake you’d like. That’s all: there are no accounts, and no payment details are taken on this website.

To keep out spam, the order form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that you’re a person using technical information such as your browser and IP address. Cloudflare handles that information under its own privacy policy.

How we use it

Only to answer your request and, if you go ahead, to plan, bake and hand over your cake, and to recognise you if you order again. We don’t send marketing, and we never sell or rent your information.

Where it goes

• Your request is stored securely with Amazon Web Services in Canada, and only Mahsa can see it.
• When a request arrives, Mahsa gets a notification through Telegram with your name, phone number and the start of your message. Telegram may process it outside Canada.
• If you choose Uber delivery, your name, phone number and delivery address are shared with the Uber courier for that delivery.

How long we keep it

For as long as we need it to look after your order and keep normal business records, and then we delete it.

Your choices

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. Contact Mahsa at [email protected] and she’ll reply within 30 days.
